At this time in my life, I have very little money and time to spare.
Since the site opened in 2001, I have paid more than $600 USD in hosting fees to keep it running. Although hosting continues to become more reasonably priced, geraldgardner.com needs to be financially self-sufficient.
Money generated by geraldgardner.com will go back into the site. If the site can begin to generate enough in excess of the hosting fees, then I will be in a much better position to purchase new materials for the archive and spend time doing research to share.
If you do not like looking at the ads, then I have also considered including a PayPal donation system so that geraldgardner.com can be user-supported. If you would like to see that instead of the advertisements, please contact me. Enough emails to that effect and I will seriously consider removing the ads.
